Wanaka Venue Locations

The main Film & Book Festival venue for the 2020 event is the Wanaka Community Hub at 34 McDougall Street

The Lake Wanaka Centre will not be used in 2020 due to COVID-19 crisis, this is at 89 Ardmore Street, right on the lake front in Wanaka. It’s a modern building and we usually set up a 350 seat tiered theatre, huge six metre screen and big stereo sound.

Also in the Lake Wanaka Centre is our Café / Bar serving cold beer, wine and juice. Hot freshly baked muffins and cookies, amongst other snacks.

Look for the Nepalese Prayer Flags.

Our other Wanaka venues sometimes include Ruby’s Cinema, Edgewater Hotel and the Wanaka Community Hub at 34 McDougall Street.
