Director Bryan Smith took home the award for the best film on Adventurous Sports and Lifestyles with his film ‘North of Known’.
The Best NZ Film and winner of the $1,000 Hiddleston/MacQueen award went to ‘Waiau-toa Odyssey’ by director Simon Waterhouse
Best film on Mountain Culture was Shift by director and filmmaker Kelly Milner.
Best Film on the Environment was ‘(un)Holy River’ by Jake Norton and Pete McBride.
Best Snow Sports Film went to ‘La Liste’ by Guido Perrini.
Best Climbing Film was awarded to ‘Boys In The Bugs’ by Zachary Barr, Peter Mortimer, Nick Rosen.
The Best Short Film went to ‘Give Me Five‘ by Arnaud Longobardi.
People’s Choice went to ‘Dodo’s Delight’ by Sender Films with the most overwhelming majority of the votes in the Festival’s 15 year history.
